The Classic Pound Cake
This Classic Pound Cake is absolutely the best! Dense, moist and flavorful, the “Classic” describes this timeless perfection of rich buttery flavor. The Classic goes great slightly warmed with a cup of coffee for breakfast, as a grab and go snack, or topped with fruit and whipped cream for a tasty dessert! I prefer to have a slice as an indulgent late night treat.
Comes as a whole pound cake and is 10″ in diameter. Serves 10-12

Pound cake is perfect for freezing. I usually cut it in slices and wrap individually so I can thaw a slice whenever I want. Wrap it up tightly with aluminum foil or plastic freezer wrap and store it in the freezer for 4 to 6 months. To thaw, sit out at room temperature for 1-2 hours. Best served warmed in the microwave for 10 seconds.
